Avishi never likes to eat boiled eggs, so I give her eggs in the form of this yummy toast. You can also make this toast without eggs. For a variation I use, kesar (saffron strands) instead of egg and follow the same recipe. It makes a great breakfast recipe for adults as well 🙂
1/2 cup milk
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp sugar
1 slice bread (I prefer brown bread)
Ghee for frying.
- Beat the eggs, milk and sugar in a bowl.
- Soak the bread in this batter.
- And fry it in a sauce pan. You can use normal oil. I use ghee because it gives a nice flavour to the toast.
